Most common finish. A smooth finish, almost mirror-like and reflective. The colour, depth and structure of the stone is fully exhibited.
A matte finish, flatter than a full polish. A smooth surface but not glossy or reflective, but again shows full colour of the stone.
A brushed finish to give a leather-like texture. The surface is therefore not flat across the sweep of the worktop. Mutes the natural stone colour.
Another brushed finish which smooths out the characteristics of the stone. Intended to replicate an aged appearance on the surface.
Gives a light sheen to the stone, not as much as plain polishing but not as matte as a honed finish.
